Digital Overhead Stirrer is a laboratory electric overhead stirrer designed for controlled mixing, homogenization, and agitation of low- to high-viscosity liquids. It features a digital LCD control system for monitoring and adjusting stirring speed, with an adjustable speed range of 100–2000 rpm and a timer setting of 0–999 minutes. The unit has a maximum stirring capacity of up to 20 L and can handle viscosities of up to 30,000 mPa·s, making it suitable for applications involving relatively viscous materials such as lotions, honey, reagents, gels, and other laboratory formulations.
The stirrer is powered by a maintenance-free brushless DC motor with an output of approximately 210 W and maximum torque of 40 N·cm. Its torque can automatically adjust according to changes in sample viscosity, supporting stable mixing during continuous operation. The self-locking drill chuck accepts stirring shafts or blades with diameters of approximately 0.5–10 mm, allowing different mixing tools to be fitted according to the application.
The system incorporates overload protection and safety-circuit protection and is designed for long-duration laboratory mixing. The complete setup includes the overhead stirrer, stainless-steel support stand, stirring shaft, and mixing blade. It is suitable for use in chemical, pharmaceutical, biological, food, petroleum, research, teaching, and general laboratory applications where controlled mechanical stirring is required.
